Our story

We moved into our 1895 farmhouse with dreams of bringing it back to the life and the land around it. It was overgrown and in disarray. The house foundation was on bare ground. The hay fields were half dead. The farm was in need of help.

With my husband and I, and our four boys, we have ripped apart walls, added on to the existing structure, put in orchard fencing, made beautiful garden spaces. We built hay barns, goat pens, chicken coops, areas for raising piglets and grazing areas for our horses. We took out gated pipe and installed 2 pivot sprinkler systems. This has increased our yield while also helping us direct the water in more useful areas of the property like the garden. Slowly, we have brought it back to life.

Everyone in our family has a special niche and we are here to share it!
